Huge congratulations to Steve Best (Senior Project Manager) who recently won the Be Proud, Be Blue award at the Thames Water Supplier Awards! This award recognises champions of demonstrating pride in what they do every day as an essential services provider as a major part of ‘Team Thames’. Over the past 20 years Steve has built fantastic working relationships with many teams and individuals within Thames Water, based on trust and transparency, so we are delighted to see Steve recognised for this.

Well done also to the Sewer Flooding Resilience Team, represented by Ian McGrady (Senior Project Manager) who were shortlisted in the Outstanding Contribution to Customer Service. The category celebrates those wholly committed to doing the right thing for customers, going above and beyond to deliver exceptional customer service, which is something the team have received numerous commendations for.

We were pleased to also be a finalist for the Player’s Player award after our Lot 5 Framework Team, represented by Shane Gorman (Water Director – South Region), was nominated by Thames Water for their commitment to excellence, innovation and passion for their work, adopting alternative approaches and challenging thinking to deliver positive outcomes.
