We are delighted to announce that Barhale, in collaboration with Thames Water, have been shortlisted for the Upgrade and Renewal Project of the Year category in this year’s British Construction Industry Awards.

It is fantastic news to be shortlisted in this category, which relates to the TLT Internal Strengthening Works Project. This Project called on a successful delivery of a challenging upgrade to reinforce Thames Water’s Thames Lee Tunnel, which was a vital source of raw water for East London, against potential damage caused by the passing of the HS2’s large TBMs.

We have also been shortlisted for the Utility Project of the Year. This category is for the reinforcement works of Thames Water’s Mid Level 2 (ML2) sewer, a critical part of London’s water infrastructure against potential damage caused by the passing of HS2’s large TBMs.
