Barhale signs Armed Forces Covenant
6th September 2021Barhale has demonstrated its commitment to supporting our service men and women and their families by signing the Armed Forces Covenant.
The covenant is a promise by the nation to those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, to ensure they will be treated fairly and not disadvantaged in their day to day lives. It focusses on helping members of the armed forces community to have the same access to government and commercial services and products as any other citizen.
Head of HR, Sue Turner explains that, “As an inclusive employer with a commitment to fairness and equality, signing the Armed Forces Covenant further endorses our commitment to supporting as many diverse communities as possible.”
“We’re delighted to be recognised as an armed forces friendly organisation that can support motivated and experienced veterans and their families with their future careers. It’s the least any business can do in showing respect and gratitude for the armed forces community and the sacrifices they make in defending and securing the UK and in bringing prosperity. We’re really looking forward to being a supportive and reliable armed forces business partner.”
