Southern Water has appointed Barhale to its Lot 1 framework for medium complexity non-infrastructure works.

The £200M contract runs for an initial term ending 31^st March 2026 with an option to extend the agreement to the end of 2030 which would increase the value of works to £600M.

Under the framework, individual projects and programmes can exceed £10M value and will cover capital asset maintenance schemes; the support and delivery of new build installations; environmental improvement programmes; new build and planned asset improvements to pumping stations; water, wastewater and sludge process improvement works; mechanical, electrical and control works; and security (SEMD) works.

Work will take place across the whole of the Southern Water network including the Isle of Wight.
