Last night, Barhale were crowned winners of the Upgrade and Renewal Project of the Year category at the New Civil Engineer (NCE) British Construction Industry Awards for our Finsbury Park Access for All (AFA) Scheme, delivered for Network Rail Capital Delivery Eastern and Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR).

The judges said: “The scheme had significant social benefits in terms of improving accessibility and connectivity across the rail network. The team demonstrated strong collaborative working, and were able to clearly articulate how it was successfully delivered whilst the railway station was fully operational despite significant site access constraints. They evidenced how they minimised carbon generation on site, and used digital tools to optimise delivery.”
