Barhale and Thames Water have been working really hard in Beckton to make the infrastructure more resilient. We have just reached a
key milestone where the south main was isolated and connected and has been successfully flowing through the new pipeline.

After de-isolating the north main, both sludge mains are flowing through the new pipeline.

Both Barhale and Thames Water will continue to monitor the new pipeline in the coming days and weeks to ensure everything is robust.
